Air Pollution Is Not Good for the Sperm

A Canadian study found that male mice that polluted by the air pollution then the genetic changes in sperm 60% more than the mice that breathed filtered air filter. These findings suggest that air pollution is associated with DNA damage that is declining.

For this study, one group of rats exposed to unfiltered air from steel mills and the freeway. Other groups of rats exposed to the same air pollution  filter after cleaning with high efficiency.

The findings showed that the chemical pollutants can cause mutations that are declining. Need further research to verify these findings and evaluate the possible risk to humans exposed to particulate air pollution. The study results were published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
